Today, Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) opened a new Public Comment proceeding.
The ICANN organization is opening this Public Comment proceeding to obtain community input on the proposed agreement for renewal of the .NET Registry Agreement. The proposed renewal agreement is a result of bilateral discussions between ICANN and VeriSign, Inc., the registry operator for the .NET top-level domain.
