LOS ANGELES - 2 September 2021

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) invites the community to join a public webinar on 14 September 2021 at 18:00 UTC to learn more about the work of the ICANN Board Finance Committee.

The Committee members will discuss related topics including their approach to the committee's oversight role, how they provide support to the organization through the annual budget process, and how they help ensure the community's voice is heard in ICANN's financial decision-making.

The webinar will be one hour with a short presentation and then members will welcome questions from the community. Please register in advance here. The webinar will be presented in English with interpretation in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address – a name or a number – into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
