Amendments to the Base gTLD RA and RAA to Modify DNS Abuse Contract Obligations

Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) opened a new Public Comment proceeding.

The ICANN organization seeks Public Comments on the proposed amendments to the base generic top-level domain Registry Agreement (gTLD RA) and the 2013 Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA). The targeted amendments will strengthen obligations to require registrars and registries to stop or otherwise disrupt Domain Name System (DNS) abuse.
