.org Reassignment: Applicant Comments on Preliminary Evaluation Report on .org Proposals
(Received through 29 August 2002)

In April 2002, ICANN launched an open and transparent bid solicitation and evaluation process to select an entity to become operator of the .org registry when VeriSign's registry agreement for .org expires on 31 December 2002. Comments by the applicants and the public were invited on these materials, with the reports to be finalized based on the comments received through 29 August 2002.
