ICANN held a series of meetings in Santiago, Chile, on August 24-26, 1999. Any interested person was welcome to attend and participate; most meetings were broadcast live over the Internet, with remote participants able to submit comments and questions in real time. The following items have been placed on the agenda for public discussion and comment at the ICANN Public Meeting on Wednesday, August 25, and for the ICANN Board Meeting on Thursday, August 26, which will be open for public observation.
