Summary of the BGC ALAC Review WG activity at the Paris meeting

At the Paris meeting, the WG conducted two workshops, held two "office hours" sessions for input in a smaller group environment and attended a number of workshops conducted by other groups.
Points to note:
- The comment period for the initial consultation on the Westlake Report has been extended to 18 July.
- Translations of the summary and recommendations will be available in the next few days.
- The final report will be released at the end of July.
- The WG is pleased to have heard a wide range of views from the community during the Paris meeting. Transcripts of the BGC ALAC WG workshops can be found at

- The WG is looking forward to receiving comments in this initial comment period.
- As the Westlake Report is only one perspective on the ALAC, the WG is also looking forward to further comments once the final report has been released and to working with the ICANN community to develop final recommendations for the Board.
