12 June 2009 | Starting this month, ICANN will be hosting a series of global New generic Top-Level Domain (gTLD) events in various locations around the world. These events have been designed in a wide range of formats to address different community needs for those that have an interest in the Program and in the development of the Applicant Guidebook.
11 June 2009 | ICANN sent a notice of breach to ICANN-accredited registrar Lead Networks Domains Pvt. Ltd. based on Lead Networks Domains Pvt. Ltd.'s failure to comply with the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy ("UDRP") and Registrar Accreditation Agreement ("RAA").
10 June 2009 | ICANN offers a set of announcements for public discussion as meeting in Sydney nears.
10 June 2009 | A new public comment period opens for 30 days on a proposed amendment from Tralliance to Appendix 6 and 7 of the dot-travel Registry Agreement.
10 June 2009 | ICANN appointed Westlake Consulting Limited for the external review of the At-Large Advisory Committee. The WG, taking into consideration the various comments received from the Community, publishes now its Final Report on ALAC improvements, which will be submitted to the Structural Improvements Committee for consideration and submission to the Board for decision.
9 June 2009 | ICANN appointed the Boston Consulting Group/Colin Carter & Associates to perform the external review of its Board of Directors. Following this second round of consultation the Board review WG continued its activity and presents now its second Interim Report.
9 June 2009 | The Structural Improvements Committee of the Board has — among other duties — the responsibility of 'Reviewing, and suggesting changes as warranted to, ICANN's policies and processes governing organizational review'.
8 June 2009 | ICANN has published a revised procedure, entitled "Technical requirements for authoritative name servers", on the IANA website.
8 June 2009 | A full schedule for the meeting, including a synopsis of each session being held throughout the week, is available on the ICANN Sydney Meeting website at http://syd.icann.org.
6 June 2009 | ICANN posted two reports relating to the introduction of new gTLDs, both by Dr. Dennis Carlton.
