ICANN is pleased to announce the following new staff appointments:
ICANN Registrar Liaison Manager
Michael Zupke joins ICANN as Registrar Liaison Manager.
Mike most recently directed his own company providing legal research and writing services to fellow attorneys. He also was responsible for website development and produced an electronic newsletter for a non-profit bar association group.
Prior to this he worked as a staff attorney conducting research and overseeing a team of law clerks for the National Arbitration Forum, an ICANN approved dispute provider for the UDRP and other domain name dispute resolution programs.
Mike will work on a variety of registrar issues, including accreditation and compliance. He will be responsible for enhancing communications with registrars through an electronic newsletter and other outreach efforts.
Peter Sanchez
Peter Sanchez joins ICANN as Network Engineer.
Most recently Peter has undertaken the role of Senior Systems Administrator for iPowerweb, a web hosting industry. Prior to this he was a Network technician for Picture Perfect Inc (PPI), a cable television installation and contracting company, and also System and Network Engineer for New Mexico Internet Access Inc (NMIA).
Peter has also undertaken a number of consulting assignments in the networking industry and in his early career provided technical support to AOL and Client Logic.
Sarah Trehern
Sarah Trehern joins ICANN as IANA Project Assistant. Sarah was most recently employed at VCA/ANTECH as a HR/Payroll representative and previously as a Data Entry Supervisor for Austin Regional Clinic.
Sarah attended Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA, majoring in English.
Nicole Bihari
Nicole joins ICANN as Executive Assistant to ICANN General Counsel.
Prior to joining ICANN Nicole enjoyed an extensive career with the Modern Music Publishing Company where she was Executive Assistant to the CEO.
Nicole holds a BA in Political Science and Communications from Mount Saint Mary's College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Bernadette Failla
Bernadette joins ICANN as Executive Assistant to the General Manager Global Partnerships and the Head of HR.
Prior to joining ICANN Bernadette undertook a series of overseas assignments for the US State Department in a variety of administrative support roles. Her most recent assignment was in Ghana.
Bernadette is a graduate of the Walworth Barbour American International School of Israel.
