The ICANN Board of Directors met in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles from 9-11 August, and worked on the following topics:

- Corporate responsibility
- Corporate administrative structure and practices
- Review of objectives for 2008 on the major topics facing ICANN;

- Internationalized Domain Names,
- Security issues,
- DNSSEC,
- IPv4 and IPv6,
- Outreach and the Internet Governance Forum.
- Board governance issues;
- Discussion of the terms of reference for review of the Board,
- Succession and leadership planning,
- Global outreach
