Status of .aero Agreement
On 20 November 2001, I notified the ICANN Board that the .aero Sponsored TLD Agreement and all of its attachments had been completed and posted. Under ICANN Board resolutions 01.84 and 01.85, the ICANN President is authorized to sign the agreement if no Board member makes a contrary request, based on policy considerations, on or before 27 November 2001.
Edward Hasbrouck has sent the ICANN Board e-mail messages dated 16 November 2001 and 21 November 2001 raising objections to the signing of the agreement. A General Counsel's analysis of these objections has been prepared and provided to the Board. The documents can be accessed by the links shown above.
