Special Meeting of the Board

ICANN's Transition Board of Directors held a meeting by teleconference on 4 February 2003. All of the ICANN Directors (with the exception of Stuart Lynn) participated.
The meeting was held for the specific purpose of continuing the discussion of CEO candidates that was initiated during the Special Meeting of the Board on 29 January 2003. Following the discussion, the Chair recognized a consensus strong enough to support pursuing negotiations with one of the candidates. A formal vote of the Board pursuant to an appropriate resolution will take place if and when those negotiations are successfully concluded.
