In General

The IDN workshop in Marrakesh will be divided into two half day sessions. The Sunday session will be a review of IDN issues as they relate to necessary policy decisions. The Tuesday session will have a focus on technical issues primarily as they relate to implementation of IDNs at the top level. Also, in the Tuesday session presentations will be provided regarding IDN activities being performed in Africa and the Middleeast.

Time/Place

Sunday 25 June 2006 and Tuesday 27 June 2006. The ICANN Meeting Marrakesh, Morocco, at the Palais des Congrès conference center.

The workshop is open to the public and will be web-cast. The idn-room@conference.icann.org room is available for remote participation. ICANN staff will be available to pass requests for comments via the jabber room on to the open microphone during the workshop.

Open microphone and Q/A opportunities are available throughout the workshop.
