ICANN Meetings in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 23-27 March 2003

ICANN's next round of meetings will be held 23-27 March 2003, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The meetings are free to attend, and open to any interested person. ICANN encourages broad participation in its bottom-up consensus-development process. You can take part in these meetings by attending in person, by taking part in the webcast and remote participation opportunities, and by joining one of the various ICANN-related mailing lists.
ICANN thanks the members of the local host committee, The Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGIBR), that is representing the Brazilian Internet community in hosting the meetings. The committee maintains a web site at <http://www.icann.org.br/rio/> with the latest information about accommodations, visa information, sponsorship opportunities, and social and cultural activities.
The March 23-27 meetings will be held at the Hotel Sofitel Rio de Janeiro. Special room rates have been arranged by the local host committee for attendees at the ICANN meetings.
