GNSO Deletes Task Force Posts Initial Report

12 February 2003

The Deletes Task Force of the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) has posted its Initial Report. The report contains policy recommendations concerning:

  • uniform deletion practice after domain name expiry by registrars;
  • registrar deletion practice after domain name expiry for domain names subject to a pending UDRP dispute; and
  • deletion following a complaint on WHOIS accuracy.

Public comment on the report is invited. They should be submitted by e-mail to <comments-deletes@gnso.icann.org> no later than 3 March 2003. Comments will be archived here.
