Latin America and Caribbean Internet User Groups Finalize MOU to Create Regional At-Large Organization

The Latin American and Caribbean ("LAC") region of At Large has reached a consensus on the contents of a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") between the region and ICANN. This MOU will create ICANN's first Regional At Large Organisation (RALO).

The MOU will be signed in Sao Paulo, subject to final Board approval following a public comment period. Those wishing to comment are encouraged to do so and to make their comments not later than 4 January 2007 at 12:00 UTC.
