Advisory Concerning VeriSign Response on .com and .net Nameserver Behavior

On 27 January 2003, ICANN invited VeriSign Global Registry Services to respond to the 25 January 2003 consensus statement issued by the Internet Architecture Board (IAB) concerning changes to the behavior of the .com and .net nameservers relating to Internationalized Domain Names. Today VeriSign provided a responsive letter to ICANN, which has been posted. The letter is accompanied by VeriSign's response to the IAB's concerns. That response has been called to the IAB's attention.
