Ken Shiu joined ICANN in August 2009 and is based in ICANN's Sydney office. As a member of ICANN's legal team, he is responsible for providing legal support on ICANN operational matters.
Prior to ICANN, Ken's experience spans a range of roles from corporate and technology lawyer in both private practice and corporate environments, to IT business development and software systems consulting roles. Most recently, Ken was a Senior Associate in private practice at Allens Arthur Robinson providing a mix of IP, IT and corporate/commercial advisory to a broad range of clients on transactions across the Asia Pacific region. Ken also has experience working as a corporate legal counsel at NCS Group, the pan-Asian IT system integration services arm of Singapore Telecom and at various US multinational hardware and software suppliers supporting their Asia Pacific operations.
Ken attained his bachelor of commerce and a bachelor of laws degrees from the University of New South Wales.
