Brian joined ICANN in September 2009 as Registrar Liaison Manager. His role is to promote registrar compliance with ICANN agreements and policies, assist in the resolution of disputes, and work with the policy development staff to implement new policies approved by the community and the ICANN Board.

Brian has several years of experience in international trade policy, bilateral and multi-lateral negotiations, government affairs, regulatory compliance and global IP asset management as an attorney, U.S. trade negotiator and in the private business sector. He is an adjunct professor of international trade policy at USC Gould School of Law.

Brian graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, and received his B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. Before earning his law degree, Brian lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan for over nine years.
