Akram Atallah joined ICANN in September 2010 as Chief Operating Officer. He brings to his position more than 20 years of experience in engineering development and management, communications technology management, product marketing, and large business restructuring management. After 10 years at Conexant Systems, he left his General Manager and Senior VP position and took on the COO role at CoreObjects Software to successfully restructure the once struggling engineering services startup. Akram has an MBA and a master and bachelor's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. He is trilingual in English, Arabic, and French.
